During Japan Fintech Week 2026, the FAJ, in collaboration with the Asia FinTech Alliance (AFA), organized the AFA Delegation Program.
This marked the first official AFA delegation to an AFA member event, bringing together 18 delegates from six AFA member countries to engage with Japan’s fintech ecosystem.
The program included a courtesy visit to senior government officials, as well as roundtable discussions and meetings with key stakeholders in Japan’s financial sector.
Throughout the program, participants actively shared insights from their respective markets and engaged in open and candid discussions with Japanese counterparts. The exchanges during the roundtables, the institutional visits, and the networking opportunities throughout the week contributed to strengthening connections across the region.
FAJ will continue to work closely with AFA and international partners to promote cross-border collaboration and support the development of the fintech ecosystem across Asia.
