After working for Microsoft and Yahoo! JAPAN, he became CTO of Japan Digital Design in 2017. In 2015, he became the President of OpenID Foundation Japan, and in 2016, he became the Chairman of the National Member Committee of ISO/TC307 on Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technology. He is also a board member of the Japan Virtual and Crypto-Asset Exchange Association, a board member of Florence, a certified NPO, and a Digital Services Fellow of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.
