【Global Partnership】 Fintech Association of Japan concluded a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Center for Financial Inclusion

Fintech Association of Japan (Chuo City, Tokyo. Representative Directors: Takashi Okita / Yasuhiro Kimura / Takafumi Ochiai) concluded a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Center for Financial Inclusion (CFI), an independent think tank housed at Accion, in October 2025. FAJ and CFI will collaborate on matters of mutual interest relating to the fintech industry and financial inclusion. The MOU welcomes FAJ as a Financial Inclusion Week (FIW)+ Regional Partner, driving local participation in activities related to FIW, one of the largest convenings for the inclusive finance community around the world. FAJ and CFI will work together to bring more voices and perspectives from the fintech sector in Japan to this global conversation.

CFI (Center for Financial Inclusion)

The Center for Financial Inclusion is an independent think tank housed at Accion. CFI conducts rigorous research, pilots innovative solutions, and convenes the inclusive finance sector to spark evidence-based change, putting the consumer at the center of everything they do.

Financial Inclusion Week

Hosted annually by the Center for Financial Inclusion, Financial Inclusion Week (FIW) brings together leaders from around the world to exchange ideas, share research, and offer perspectives to inform the future of inclusive finance. FIW 2025 took place October 6-9, 2025, and featured four days of live and on-demand content with 350+ expert speakers and over 3,100 registered participants representing 151 countries.
