Hiroyuki Totake

Hiroyuki Totake joined JCB Co., Ltd. in 1996 and after leaving the company in 2007, he went on to become a lawyer. With his experience working for a major credit card company, he has been actively involved in providing legal support for various financial interlinked businesses, focusing on payment and remittance services.
He also serves as a board member of a start-up company and a listed company.
He was appointed as an auditor of Fintech Association of Japan in 2015 (current position), as a director of Japan Association for Financial APIs in June 2018 (current position), and as an ad-hoc advisor to Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry in 2018.
Hiroyuki also achieved The FinTech Japanese legal ranking award in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 in Chambers & Partners for four consecutive years (Ranked Individual Band 3).
